1NB Bank was was founded in 1878 by the Schlafly Bros. as The First National Bank in Carlyle. The Schlafly brothers built the bank building located at 891 Fairfax, Carlyle and this location still serves as the Bank’s main headquarters today.
As the bank and its employees grew, a drive-up branch was built in 1969 at 12th and Jefferson Street, Carlyle. In July 1997, this facility was vacated and the new Carlyle Branch opened at 1350 Twelfth Street, Carlyle.
